OUR STORY
Maison Nina – House of French Pastries

After many years of working in the French fashion industry in Paris, I decided to embark on a new path. A re-imagined view of what a career should be. My primary source of inspiration was to work with and create something of value with my own hands, a gift of creation for the enjoyment of others.
I began my journey at the century-old pastry chef culinary school Ferrandi Paris in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. My goal – to become a Parisian pastry chef.
Why pastries and why is my pastry shop named Maison Nina? My mother, Nina, instilled in me the pleasure of baking pastries and sharing her creations with her family. Having left us too early, it is in honor of her memory that I named my daughter and my atelier after her.
We started with a vision. At our pastry shop, we engage in the art of pastry-making, inspired from the classical French know-how, re-imagined in America. A dual culture rich in taste, constantly striving to bring together the highest quality products in newly conceived associations.
Married to an American wife, it was to be expected that after ten years together in Paris, we would head to the United States with our two children for a new life. The best culinary experience equals the best products, unaltered and high-quality plus the creative vision.
We propose a range of delicacies, to share as a family, with friends, or as a guilty pleasure on your own.
